Hailing from Auckland, NZ, these kiwis have been on repeat since their debut album, Passive Me Aggressive You, was released last September. I saw them play in Los Angeles a few months ago and they were really cute! The lead singer, Alisa Xayalith, was adorable in her flowing kimono and Stevie Nicks dance moves. If this song doesn't make your booty shake then there is something seriously wrong with you. They're on tour right now so make sure to check them out if they're passing through your town! I have serious ADD when it comes to music. I hear a song I like, maybe an entire album once in a blue moon, and I play it over and over and over again ... until I am beyond sick of it. I can't remember why or how I started this terribly annoying habit, BUT throughout the years I have acquired quite an awesome music collection.
My caterpillar-sized attention span has also proven to compose some pretty random playlists. That said, here are eight of my favorite songs this week. Some old, some new, all epic. Hope you enjoy!
