Blaine takes a lot of sartorial cues from the 60s but on last night's episode of Glee, the showman referenced a much more modern pop culture touchstone: the jacket Ryan Gosling wears in Drive.
Granted, the pieces aren't identical, but the instant I saw Blaine's cream colored zip up, Drive's Scorpion-adorned style immediately sprung to mind.
It's no surprise that Glee is taking inspiration from Drive: the outerwear was omnipresent in nearly every piece of the movie's promotional campaign, and became one of the year's hottest Hollywood costumes.
