Though Naya Rivera always looks flawless as Santana Lopez on Glee, she's now admitting she suffers from a very un-glamorous skin problem -- adult acne.

And now, following in the famous footsteps of Katy Perry, Jessica Simpson, Justin Bieber and even Diddy, Naya is the new face of popular acne cleanser Proactiv.

"I had really bad skin for awhile earlier this year," Naya told People on the set of her Proactiv shoot. "It sort of just came out of nowhere. It was like adult acne, and I was like, I've had great skin my entire life. How am I dealing with this now at 24?"

However, she reveals her Glee co-stars were very supportive of the sensitive subject.

"I would always go around and talk about it," she admitted. "It was a point of insecurity for me. But I'm glad I got it fixed, I'll say that."

And it turns out Naya was "pro active" in getting the high-profile Proactiv gig -- she contacted the company herself after she saw incredible results from their products.

"It [Proactiv] helped me out, so I got in contact with the company and told them I would love to share my story," Naya revealed. "So I showed them photos and they said, 'This is great.' Wait till people see my pictures. That's all I have to say. I definitely have the photos to prove [I had a problem]."
