Dakota Fanning's All Grown-Up
By ANTOINETTE BUENO
January 03, 2012
Dakota Fanning has been slowly but surely making the leap from cute child star to legit mature actress for what seems like awhile now, but nowhere is it more evident than this photo shoot for February's Elle UK.
Photographed by David Slijper and styled by Anne-Marie Curtis, dare I say cover girl Dakota Fanning looks more mature than audiences have ever seen her, rocking the reddest lips imaginable, wearing her signature blonde hair in tousled waves and sporting ladylike ensembles far removed from the playfully girly style she (or her sister Elle) used to take the fashion world by storm.
Clearly, Elle can still learn a few things from big sister Dakota!
As this is the most sophisticated cover the 17-year-old has done yet, what do you think of Dakota's grown-up style? Does she look beautifully mature, or too old for someone who's still in her teens?
