Capitol Couture, Lionsgate's tumblr focused solely on Hunger Games fashion, has just given fans a fabulous peek into the film's stunning shoes.

Amongst the key beauty and fashion reveals, we get a close look at Hunger Games chaperone Effie Trinket's spectacularly gaudy pair of Alexander McQueen gold "Faithful" peep-toe booties.

"The higher the heel the better," Effie's profile reads on the site. "I just love love love dropping by the City Circle in my perspex-heeled metallic booties!”

'Hunger Games' Launches New Fashion Site

Peep-toes seem to be the heels of choice at the Capitol, as aside from the gold pair, the site also features close-ups of a "coal" black pair of grosgrain peep-toes (alluding to District 12's specialization in coal mining), a futuristic-like periwinkle peep-toe worn by a "City Circle" waitress, and hot-pink open-toed gladiator heels on a Capitol citizen inside President Snow's mansion.

Perhaps all the peep-toe stilettos are meant to advertise the Hunger Games nail polish?

Well call me a sucker, because it's working!
