OK, she didn't say that, I did. But it's pretty accurate given the glitter explosion that often accompanies the melted Crayolas which often leak across her face.

Stars Without Makeup

But it's nice to see what a beautiful girl lies underneath all that makeup thanks to this new Glamour photoshoot. But don't take that to mean Ke$ha won't revert to her former face when time comes to promote her newest album. "The body paint stays," she says. "It's my favorite thing to do. Sometimes I have parties at my house in Nashville and it's clothing-optional, and we just body-paint each other and run around, and I have a giant bed. I'm very much in touch with that side of myself."

As for her new album, Ke$ha tells Glamour, "I'm in the middle of writing a new record. I'm taking so many different instrument lessons. People say that rock 'n' roll is dead, and I am making it my mission to resurrect it. I have rock 'n' roll pumping through my veins."
