Jennifer Lopez on Heejun Han's 'Idol' Exit

On this date in 2003, Lopez was interviewed after a photo shoot for Vibe magazine. While the interviewer couldn't help but prompt her about her upcoming wedding plans with fiancé Ben Affleck, the interview was all about fashion and her influence on the fashion industry.

"I love fashion. I always have since I was little," the then-33-year-old Lopez says, "It's always been something that is fun for me. That's why I started my own clothing line because I really feel like creatively it's something fun for me."

As for how she balances her fashion career with her other professional endeavors, Lopez says that it's all about prioritizing. "I prioritize in a certain way," she says. "I just go day by day."

The mega-celebrity seems to flourish with her day-by-day approach, as she threw another pin in her balancing act last year when he became an American Idol judge.
