Known for her dark brunette hair, Crystal not only dyed her hair pale blonde, but took her look to Lady Gaga levels by also dying her eyebrows the jarring shade. Combined with her super-thin physique, she is now almost completely unrecognizable.

But according to Crystal, the new look can be chalked up to having a "Gemini moment."

"It's so interesting because I think it's the last thing people would expect me to do -- which is exactly why I did it. Besides, I was having a Gemini moment," she said. "It means that you can get bored and you want a bit of a change. So I would say besides having projects in the works, that I wanted something new myself so I decided to keep it."

Crystal Renn: Anorexia Was Mental Torture

Could the super slim down and new look be due to a desire to switch career paths?

"I'm always considering new projects," Crystal tells Fashionista.com. "If the right part came along, yes, most certainly, I would do it. I'm becoming more and more open to that every day. Modeling feels like acting."
