Looks like the extreme high bun is the latest hairstyle trend to take over Hollywood, but just how high is too high?

Shirley Manson recently rocked this sky-high 'do at the Orange Warsaw Festival in Poland, while Ashley Tisdale sported a messier version at the 11th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles. Julianne Hough wore perhaps the best version of the questionable hairstyle at the Rock of Ages premiere in Hollywood, thanks to her eye-catching neon yellow Kaufmanfranco dress that served as a bit of a distraction from the dramatic 'do.

While nobody would argue that Shirley, Ashley and Julianne are all beautiful girls, this particular 'do is a little too reminiscent of Coneheads ... or Nicole Richie.
