Anne Hathaway's Fringe: Hate It or Love It?

Anne Hathaway sported a bold black Stella McCartney fringe dress for her guest appearance on Late Show with David Letterman, showing off her pale limbs and now super-skinny physique (look at those arms!) thanks to her role as the starving Fantine in the upcoming Les Miserables.

Completing the unconventional look is her boyish pixie cut (which is also due to her Les Miserables role), sensible black heels and very minimal makeup.

While Anne never looks completely bad, can't say I'm on board with the fringe trend -- and with a conservative knee-length dress, couldn't she be a little more creative with her heels and makeup?

Annie's clearly seen better style days!
