Cate Blanchett's Rare Givenchy Misstep
Hideous or High-Fashion?
The usually flawless Cate Blanchett didn't put her best foot forward at the Gotham Magazine party to celebrate her cover story last night in NYC, where she showed up in a clearly mismatched Givenchy ensemble.
The black and white collared shirt is striking enough, but paired with the printed pencil skirt it all becomes much too much. Her Givenchy orange woven clutch and Roger Vivier lace-up booties also became over-the-top when paired with the super-loud skirt.
And clearly, the way the fabric folds over at her stomach due to the high-waist design isn't the most flattering!
But what do you think? Is this one of Cate Blanchett's worst outfits ever, or is this a high-fashion look worthy of the runway?
