Hate It or Love It? Rihanna's 'Creepy' Boots
Rad or Bad?
Never one to shy away from controversial fashion, Rihanna was recently spotted leaving a London club in a leather mini, a black sweatshirt and a spectacularly gaudy pair of thigh-high snakeskin boots.
But this time her splashy choice of footwear is not only getting her in trouble with the fashion police, it's also already prompted a statement from PETA.
"Wearing reptile skin is creepy and callous, and it makes her look even more out of touch," the outspoken organization said in a statement. "She and Lady Gaga seem so desperate to be freaks instead of recognized for their talents that you have to wonder if they realize that they are being laughed at."
While I doubt Rihanna will pay much attention to the reprimand, someone should tell her that these boots are pretty much indisputably tacky ... and tragically also probably cost a small fortune.
But what do you think? Did Rihanna actually pull off these thigh-highs?
