Ashley Greene debuted a dramatically different hair color Saturday in NYC -- a bold, bright red shade that's sure to turn plenty of heads.

The natural brunette, 25, hinted at the change on Friday, tweeting "@JasonBacke is working some magic on my hair at the @tedgibson salon. It's going to be crazy and exciting. :)"

Ashley Greene: My Relationships Are Fleeting

The new hair color is so dark it's almost purple, and is about as far a change as she can get from her Alice Cullen Twilight 'do!
