Blake Lively is the new face of Gucci Premiere perfume and in this behind-the-scenes look at the making of the campaign, director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) calls it "perfect casting" to have the Gossip Girl fill those "golden shoes."
Dressed in a stunning floor-length Gucci gown, Lively, 25, calls the opportunity to represent the brand "humbling." Refn, the director of the commercial, says the theme was "movie mythology," and his goal was to show the romanticism of show business. "His mind is so beautiful and so different," Lively says of the acclaimed director. "Like this fragrance and Gucci, he's so timeless. You never know where his stories exist."
"I'm a fetish filmmaker. I make films about what arouses me," Refn adds of his process. "As I always say, 'How do you make a baby happy?' You say, 'Gucci, Gucci, Gucci.'"
