Ashlee Simpson Meets New Beau's Parents

Lake, 42, announced on Twitter on Thursday that she's getting married to jewelry designer Christian Evans. "Thrilled to share some happy news with you..... I'm engaged!" The message included a link to a photo of the couple.

"The cat is out of the bag. Phew! I'm terrible at keeping secrets," she tweeted. "Thank you so much for all the love and well wishes. :) Happy and Grateful."

It will be the second marriage for the Hairspray star, who has two sons with her previous husband, Rob Sussman.
