Ashlee Simpson Meets New Beau's Parents

After five months of dating, the singer for Mumford & Sons popped the question to the 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' actress, Us Weekly reports. The two had been childhood pen pals in London and were reunited earlier this year.
The relationship got serious when Mulligan and her pal Jake Gyllenhaal caught a secret Mumford & Sons show in Nashville, TN on February 7, according to the magazine. A few days later, Mulligan, 26, and Mumford, 24, caught a secret Arcade Fire show in NYC and the two have been hot and heavy since, even reportedly taking a series of romantic vacations.
The Academy Award-nominated Mulligan split with 'Transformers' star Shia LaBeouf last year.
