Hollywood descended upon the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles on April 29, 2011 for the 18th Annual Race to Erase MS event. This year, the event, run by co-chairs Nancy Davis and Tommy Hilfiger, raised more than $2 million to benefit the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis.
Cindy Crawford, LaToya Jackson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Nicky and Paris Hilton and many other celebrities attended the high profile event, helping to raise money for the charity. Windows Phone donated $500 for each celebrity that recorded video at their booth and then tweeted the video before entering the event.
The charity gala opened with a celebrity fashion show with a sneak peek at Andrew Charles, the new fashion line by Andy Hilfiger. A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz also unveiled a one-of-a-kind wedding gown inspired by the one worn by Kate Middleton.
The fashion show was followed by a performance from Joan Jett who played some of her hits including "I Love Rock 'N Roll," "Cherry Bomb," and "I Hate Myself For Loving You."
