The Southern states have seen their share of devastation lately with preliminary government reports saying that 600 tornadoes have occurred there in April alone. In the midst of all of this devastation though, actor David Spade has donated $200,000 of his own money to the American Red Cross in order to help with disaster relief.
Spade, who is an American Red Cross National Cabinet member said, "With the devastating disasters the tornadoes and floods are causing, I wanted to help the Red Cross in their efforts to provide help as quickly as possible. I also hope this will help to shine the spotlight on the people of the United States who in desperate need right now and that other will join me in donating what they can to support the American Red Cross' huge disaster relief effort."
