The royals are coming, the royals are coming! As America awaits the highly anticipated arrival of Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, Santa Barbara is preparing for the highly publicized charity polo match. TheInsider.com has the scoop!

Luscious green grass, capacious white tents and billowing tiffany-blue banners set the precedent for what is sure to be a decadent affair. Tomorrow, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will arrive at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club for a star-studded charity polo match.

The Prince himself will take part in the games playing on Team Royal Salute while the Duchess will present the winning team with a trophy.

At a private players meeting this morning, coordinators of the event promised a strict enforcement by security and cautioned players to be "mindful of the Prince" during the match but ensured "the Prince does not have to win."

Oprah Winfrey, David and Victoria Beckham, Sylvester Stallone and a slew of other celebrities are all expected to be in attendance and will spend the afternoon rubbing elbows with royalty and high society (think the Anheuser-Busch family and socialites-alike). Celebrity Chef Giada De Laurentiis will be serving her latest creations to over six -hundred VIP guests.

A red carpet was in the works and hundreds of swag-bags littered the turf as workers hurried to put the final accouterments. It is rumored that at the royal newlyweds are expected to arrive Saturday morning via a fleet of helicopters with the Beckhams at their side.

The exclusive event, sponsored with Tiffany and Co., the auto-maker Audi, American Express, Royal Salute Whiskey and British Outfitters Jack Willis, will help to raise funds for The American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. Over 300 members of the media are expected to be in attendance.

With just under three-thousand people paid a high price to attend with tickets ranging from four hundred to four thousand dollars each, there's no doubt that all eyes will be on new fashionista Kate Middleton!
