Lindsay Lohan 'Not Worried' About Court
October 14, 2011
Lindsay Lohan is reportedly telling friends she's not concerned about facing a judge next Wednesday to explain her snail's pace approach to completing mandated community service work at a women's shelter and the coroner's office.
Lohan is due in court next week to face Judge Stephanie Sautner for a probation review as part of her sentences related to drunken driving and theft cases. But RadarOnline quotes a friend of Lindsay as saying she was not worried and "nothing is going to happen to me." The friend added: "Lindsay says she knows that she's not doing what they want her to do now but she feels like she won't get in any trouble."
The star was ordered in May to serve 360 hours of community service at a shelter for women on L.A.'s skid row, but has so far completed just 21 hours at the facility. A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles district attorney's office confirmed to the L.A. Times that because Lohan had failed to keep appointments at the women's center, she was transferred to the American Red Cross for those community service hours.
Lohan has also not yet appeared at the Los Angeles County coroner's office -- where she is required to complete 120 hours of janitorial work -- and she was also ordered to enroll in psychological counseling and complete anti-shoplifting classes.
But despite all her community service no-shows, the Machete actress did find time to attend a red carpet event in Los Angeles on Wednesday, with that appearance triggering speculation about whether she recently had plastic surgery and focusing attention on her disheveled appearance and visibly yellowing teeth.
In response to a query on Linday's less-than-pearly whites, her rep Steve Honig told People.com: "Lindsay is widely acknowledged as one of the most stunning actresses of her day, and we get requests every week wanting to do photo shoots with her from top photographers."
Honig went on to call Lohan a "beautiful and glamorous actress" who has appeared in the top beauty and fashion magazines. But he added: "With everything going on – from deteriorating public education to rampant homelessness to international unrest – there is no way I'm going to comment on Lindsay's teeth."
