Kate Middleton's Solo Showing

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge Catherine Middleton hosted her first-ever event Wednesday night, without Prince William by her side. Not only did she do it with class, but also with great success!
A palace aide told BBC: "The engagement went well. She was so pleased that her first solo engagement was for the Prince of Wales, who has shown her so much support over the years."
Kate, who was a last-minute stand-in for Prince Charles at the In Kind Direct charity dinner in London on Wednesday night, stunned in a pale gown. Prince Charles was in Riyadh to pay his respects after the death of the Crown Prince of the Saudi Arabian Royal Family.
Although, the event did hit one slight sartorial snag: the British press is obsessing over the fact that the adhesive keeping Kate's hair extensions in place were visible all night long.
