Bernie Madoff's mistress, Sheryl Weinstein, has written a book detailing her torrid love affair with the convicted con man, but she didn't stop there. Sheryl continued to spill secrets in our interview, covering how the affair started and what attracted Sheryl to Bernie in the first place.

"He was very kind and considerate," said Sheryl, describing a man who has been painted as the personification of greed. "Now he's a beast, but he wasn't then. He was a nice man back then."

Sheryl revealed that Bernie "romanced" her for four years before they began their affair, but their attraction, she admitted, was immediate.

"He gave me this look as if he was a chocoholic and I was a molten chocolate dessert," Sheryl said about their first meeting. "It was nice causing that type of reaction in somebody."

Even before their affair began, Sheryl knew that Bernie wouldn't leave his wife and family. Sheryl would always be the woman on the side.

"I sort of reached a point where I just didn't like being second place," said Sheryl. "It didn't suit my personality."
