Scarlett Johansson Defends Nude Pics
November 01, 2011
Scarlett Johansson is defending her nude photos, which leaked onto the Internet earlier this year, saying the images were meant only for the eyes of her ex husband Ryan Reynolds.
The actress explains to Vanity Fair contributing editor Peter Biskind that she knew what she was doing when she took the pictures. "I know my best angles." She adds that taking nude photos is nothing to be ashamed of. "They were sent to my husband. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not like I was shooting a porno. Although there's nothing wrong with that either."
Nude photos of the The Avengers star were distributed on various celebrity websites after they were obtained from her mobile phone by a hacker. Johansson -- who has never appeared fully nude in any of her films -- got the FBI involved to help get to the bottom of the intrusion.
Last month the FBI arrested a suspect in the case after a year-long investigation dubbed "Operation Hackerazzi," which specifically looked into computer hacking that is targeted at Hollywood celebrities.
You can read Scarlett's full interview in the December issue of Vanity Fair, which will be available on newsstands November 8.
