Kris Jenner Says Kim Made No Money Off Wedding

From family members like Khloe and Rob to the international media brigade, everyone has something to say about Kim Kardashian's split from basketballer/zombiegroom Kris Humphries -- and now Big Mamma is sounding off on Kim’s happily-never-after nuptials. Today, Kris Jenner has been peddling snake oil sound bites by telling media outlets that while everyone thinks Kim made millions off her fairytale wedding, she in fact spent millions of her own money. Oh Kris, get real and go sell that malarkey somewhere else because we culture vultures, who are well versed in reports that Kim made upwards of $18 million off the wedding, aren’t buying what you are selling!

This morning Kris told Kiss FM 104.7’s Johnjay and Rich (and several other radio stations), "The one thing that is the most annoying is the rumor that she made millions off of this wedding and she didn’t make a dime off of this wedding and spent millions of dollars on the wedding. So it’s not something she ever thought would not be happily ever after."

Yeah Kris, you are right, Kim didn’t make A dime off the wedding. She made lots of dimes. Lots and lots and lots of dimes. Millions of dimes! Billions of dimes! (Or at least, that's what outlets have previously reported.)

Kris also stopped by the Sway in the Morning radio show on SiriusXM's Shade 45 and gave a message to haters: "And you know our network was very generous and filmed the show and obviously gave her a salary, all of us our shooting fees and all that, but it's not like we walked away with millions of dollars jingling in our pockets; absolutely not. ... It's tough when you have all the haters who have these licenses to say whatever they want and people don't know the facts. ... And people don't know the facts. So get your facts straight, people, before you start judging."

Umm Kris I’m not sure if you are aware of this but you kind of asked us to judge you. For years, you have put yourself, your family and their problems on TV. You opened up your life to the eyes of the world and put two of your daughters' weddings on parade for all to see. And now, 73 days after Kim and Kris' elaborate Montecito wedding – the marriage is caput. And things have backfired. People are now questioning whether or not the wedding was a publicity stunt, if this was all done for money and if the two were ever even in love. Kris, what you wanted was attention and fame and what you got was attention and fame but also judgment. No way around that one!

I eagerly await how this mess unravels in the next few weeks but until then …
