A Future in Music for Alicia Keys' Son Egypt?
November 04, 2011

We met up with Alicia on Thursday night at the eighth annual Keep a Child Alive event in NYC for which Keys is co-founder, and the new mom couldn't help but gush about her pride and joy's newly growing interest in the family trade.

Alicia tells The Insider that earlier in the day little Egypt was on the sidelines as Usher and Will.i.am worked out a dry run of the night's performance, and the young tot was completely captivated. "He was at rehearsal today and he was so enamored with the lights and the sound and everything. It's awesome."
As for whether she'll foster Egypt's curiosity? She says, "of course."
