You better run and hide Bill Maher, 'cause Elisabeth Hasselbeck is going to find you! While visiting The View on Tuesday to dish about his new book, the late night host ended up getting skewered by grudge-holder Hasselbeck for a joke he made about her on his HBO show Real Time with Bill Maher back in February. Elisabeth's attack was awkward, it was uncomfortable, and frankly it was just … weird city. Later that day, Maher stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman and talked about the aftermath from his View-to-a-kill morning with the Republican.

Maher joked, "I was so traumatized. I was abused. I felt like a teenage boy at Penn State."

The controversial Maher said, much to his surprise, that his Twitter followers, most of whom are usually outraged by his words, were siding with him after the battle. Maher even went so far as to thank Hasselbeck for her awkward interrogation. "Thank you Elisabeth Hasselbeck for making me look so good."

Ooh man, you are really asking for it now Billy boy. Don't get too comfy, because when you least expect that gluten-hating blondie is gonna pounce! Just to be safe Bill, you should probably carry around some pasta, doughnuts and French bread – it's her Kryptonite.
