"I lost my money, I lost my house and I lost my car," Cowell told special correspondent Debbie Matenopoulos. "I was making some stupid decisions."

Those decisions helped land the outspoken judge back in his parent's house after making a fortune and subsequently losing it all. Experience seems to be his best teacher as Cowell has since learned from his mistakes and even appreciates things more now.
