Celebs Save Lives with Designer Handbags
Stars like Sienna Miller and Tilda Swinton are teaming up with Save The Children to launch their Bag to Save a Life program this Christmas.
Bag to Save a Life, a part of Save the Children's No Child Born to Die campaign, features a host of celebrities and designers that have donated their own and specially designed handbags to help raise money for the charity's life saving work in some of the world's most poorest countries.
“Bid high! Bid so much higher than you think you will or can,” Swinton said. "Think of a dicey number and double it. And then double that. No fancy bag can ever carry what your generosity will mean to the children it will help to live."
On top of helping those who are desperately in need, fashionistas can bid on brands such as Angel Jackson and Smythson at a fraction of the cost. To find out more on how you can get involved in the auction, which starts November 25, visit Save The Children's special site.
