Questlove Must Now Clear Songs with NBC

It seems the wrath of Lyin'-Ass-Bitch-gate isn't over yet as Questlove says NBC now requires him to run the house band's song choices by the network before filming Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
Last month it was discovered that Questlove and The Roots played a snippet of Fishbone's Lyin' Ass Bitch intentionally during an appearance from Republican presidential candidate Michelle Bachman on LNWJF. It was a gaff that caused quite a bit of controversy, which NBC's vice president and Jimmy Fallon himself would later apologize for on Questlove's behalf.
The drummer and front man of the house band told the Associated Press he how has to "clear a lot of the song choices" with the network, something he says he's okay with.
"It was kind of wrong for me to throw [NBC] under the bus without telling them what it was, so I understand from a business standpoint," Questlove said. "It's still a comedy show, so they promise not to step on my toes or that type of thing, but they definitely want to know the title of the song, the subject matter of the song, can it be seen as an insult?"
