'Blair Witch' Actress Writes About Selling Pot
December 21, 2011
Ever wonder what happened to the girl from The Blair Witch Project? The actress, Heather Donahue, has written a book about her life after the hit movie, revealing that she spent some time selling medical marijuana.
In her book, Growgirl, Heather explains that her drug-dealing started after getting fed up with her acting career.
"I took all my stuff into the desert related to my acting career and burned it all," she told Philly.com.
After clearing her slate, she had a fortuitous (depending on how you look at it) encounter with a man who came from a community in Northern California where growing weed is common.
According to Philly.com, Heather retired from dealing pot after about a year -- which is like four in dope boy years -- but she does see hope for the future of the game.
"I think you're going to see [medical marijuana] on a lot of ballots over the next few years," she predicted. "There has been enough support for medical use if not outright legalization that I don't think it will go away."
