Adele underwent vocal cord microsurgery in early November for a hemorrhaged vocal cord that caused her to cancel her tour dates in October.

The Someone Like You singer hopes to make a full recovery before the Grammy Awards ceremony in February 2012, where she is nominated for six awards.

Amid the success of her most recent album 21, Adele was named Billboard's Top Artist of 2011.

Her song Rolling in the Deep and album 21 were both named Hottest of 2011 in their respective categories as well.
