Selena Takes Action Against Alleged Stalker

On Friday, a judge granted Selena Gomez a new three-year restraining order against the man who was accused of threatening to kill the singer.

According to court documents obtained by The Insider, Superior Court Judge William D. Stewart granted the order that will require Thomas Brodnicki to stay at least 100 yards away from Gomez and not attempt to contact her or else he could face a year in jail, pay a fine, or both.

Brodnicki had allegedly stalked the actress between July and October of last year, prompting Gomez to obtain an earlier restraining order.
