E! News reports that Beyonce and Jay-Z have named their first daughter: Blue Ivy Carter.

The news was un-officially confirmed by Jay-Z's prodigy Rihanna, who Tweeted, "Welcome to the world Princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih!"

Family friend Russell Simmons also Tweeted, "Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z."

The singer announced her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards by cradling her burgeoning baby bump on the red carpet and after her performance of Love On Top.
