Madonna Strikes Back at Gervais' 'Virgin' Joke

After Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais made a sarcastic remark that suggested that Madonna was not "like a virgin," the Queen of Pop quipped back and got the last laugh when she took the podium as a presenter.
"If I'm still 'just like a virgin,' Ricky, then why don't you come over here and do something about it?" she said, turning the spotlight back on Gervais.
"I haven't kissed a girl in a few years…on TV," the 53-year-old entertainer added, which was probably a reference to her on-screen kiss with Britney Spears at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
After being praised with laughter, Madonna later received an award in the show for Best Original Song for a ballad called "Masterpiece" that she co-wrote and sung for her film W.E.
