As the three-year anniversary of Chris Brown's highly-publicized assault on Rihanna approaches, a new report suggests that the two have been secretly hooking up for nearly a year.

A source close to Brown, 22, tells Us Weekly that the singer "meets up very casually" with Rihanna, 23, who comes to see Brown whenever she's in Los Angeles.

The magazine quotes a music industry source as saying: "They can't get enough of each other. I don't see it ending well." A source close to the We Found Love singer adds: "Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that."

Brown is currently serving a five-year probation term after pleading guilty to felony assault for an attack on Rihanna before the 2009 Grammy Awards. Rihanna told Esquire magazine last October that although she obviously had resentment toward Brown in the past, she had "put that behind me" and was happy for his recent success in the music business.

Romance rumors were also sparked a few weeks ago when Brown and Rihanna posted separate messages about love that seemed to be directed towards each other.

Brown's current rumored girlfriend is aspiring model Karrueche Tran, and the singer's rep told Us that he and Rihanna are just friends and that he is "not cheating." Rihanna's rep had no comment.
