Katherine Heigl joined the ladies of The View on Monday to talk about her career and motherhood, but it was her three-year-old adopted daughter Naleigh who became the real star by surprisingly running onstage to unite with her mother.

Proud mommy Katherine then conducted the rest of the interview with Naleigh on her lap as she talked about how much has changed in her life since she and husband Josh Kelley adopted their baby girl in 2009 in South Korea.

After her appearance, Katherine tweeted: "Had a fantastic time on the view, I love those ladies, wish I could start a book club with them!"

The New Year's Eve star also revealed that Naleigh was spending the whole day with her and was quite comfortable in her on camera appearances.

 "Miss Naleigh joined me for the day and seems to be quite taken with an audience and a stage... slightly worried!" she tweeted. Katherine then added: "Here she is backstage at the Martha Stewart Show, she requested a touch up! Toddlers & Tiaras here we come!"
