Viola Davis has been showered in awards the past couple months for The Help, but was nevertheless reduced to tears when during her acceptance speech for Best Actress at the SAG Awards this Sunday.
"I was eight years old when I decided to be an actor," Davis said at the podium. "And I am just so privileged to be gazing on the beautiful face of the woman who inspired me that beautiful day. And that's, Cicely Tyson."
Davis was also awarded another award for The Help, as the cast of the movie was awarded the Best Cast Award.
The 46-year-old actress will have a chance at another award this February at the Academy Awards, as she has been nominated for Best Actress once again for The Help.
