When asked if she was losing weight, Spencer responded, "Well, I have, and I'm also wearing Spanx. Spanx are a girl's best friend."

"I'm working out with a trainer," the 39-year-old actress revealed. "I'm just trying to get some of this adipose fat from around my belly so that I don't have a heart attack. That's the truth."

Whatever the reason may be, Octavia is looking good and so is her trophy case after she was awarded the SAG Awards Best Cast Award alongside her co-stars of The Help.
