Simon and I, along with Fox and Fremantle, have been communicating about this for a while now, and I have absolute understanding of the situation. Simon is, and will remain a dear friend of mine and I’ve treasured my experience working this past season with my extended family at Fox and Fremantle. I want nothing more than for The X Factor to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful."

And then there were two! Paula Abdul has just become the third member of the The X Factor who is reported to not be returning to the show.

Steve Jones Out as X Factor Host

According to Deadline, the singer is leaving the singing competition, and not on her own volition.

Nicole Scherzinger Also Leaves X Factor

The news source claims that the move to dismiss Paula, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones was done in an effort to improve ratings.

As of now, the only judges left from the show's first season are Simon Cowell, the show's creator, and L.A. Reid.
