At a pre-Oscar event hosted by Grey Goose & Alfre Woodard to support nominees Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer and others, Spencer clarified her recent comments about her plans for breast enhancement surgery.

"It's not a boob job," the Help actress clarified. "I'm not getting fake boobs. I was blessed. I'm just getting them re-acclimated to gravity."

Spencer then went on to justify her intended surgery by assessing, "I think you should be in love with your body. I'm all about health but I also think you should feel sexy when you're naked, and I don't feel as sexy as I should feel. Not that that's anybody's business," she said with a wink.

The 39-year-old actress expressed her gratitude to be at the event, which she called "one of the pearls in the Oscar experience."

Spencer's The Help co-star Viola Davis also conveyed her gratefulness to be at the event, which she compared to being "an oasis in the desert" because she was able to unwind and socialize freely.

The Oscars take place this Sunday at 5:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
