The high school senior, who is currently battling cancer, loves Taylor Swift so his sister reached out to the station in hopes of making his dream come true.

And it seemed that their gamble paid off because Taylor just posted the following message on her Facebook wall: "Kevin, I'm so sorry but I won't be able to make it to your prom. But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up. Would you be my date? Love, Taylor"

We've yet to find out if Kevin "Likes" her latest status, but one can only imagine walking a red carpet trumps fruit punch in a gymnasium.
