Snooki & JWOWW Not Welcome in Newark

The JWOWW and Snooki Show has suffered yet another setback.
Snooki Sees the Doctor about an Infection
Newark mayor Cory Booker reportedly denied the show's production company, 495 Productions, the rights to film in Newark, NJ -- which, if you're keeping count, marks the second time this week that the spin-off has hit a production delay.
"While we appreciate your desire to film and capture the essence of our great city, we are confident that the filming of this show will most certainly attract a high level of local and national attention and notoriety," Booker wrote in response to their request. "I hope you can appreciate that my first priority is the safety and well-being of citizens and visitors."
'Jersey Shore' Cast Talks Drama & Spin-Offs
Just two days ago, Jersey City Police Capt. Joseph Connors told media gathered around one of the reality show's shooting locations in Jersey City that filming has been postponed.
The yet-untitled Jersey Shore spin-off has been described by Snooki and JWOWW as a modern day Laverne & Shirley. Hopefully somewhere in Jersey will allow the pair to complete production -- fingers crossed.
