Anne Hathaway's 'Wonderful' New Job

Anne Hathaway's most varied performance will never be seen on the silver screen because it's a recorded reading for an upcoming audiobook.
The Oscar-nominated actress narrated L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz as a part of Audible.com's series "The A-List Collection," which will be available for download starting March 8.

"It's a story that the more fun you have with it -- the sillier and more creative you get with it -- I think, the better it is because it's a story that can handle it," said Anne, who displayed an extravagant range of character voices while reading the book.

"I just felt like I was reading to a child the whole time," Anne said. "I felt like I was reading to my little cousins, trying to keep them entertained."
Other notable books in the series include Kate Winslet's performance of Therese Raquin, Samuel L. Jackson's performance of A Rage in Harlem and Susan Sarandon's performance of The Member of the Wedding.
