This week, Spanx inventor Sara Blakely not only fulfilled her goal of "making the world a better place, one butt at a time," she also earned the enviable distinction of becoming the youngest, self-made woman billionaire in the world!
"I keep looking at it like, that can't be real," said Blakely of her lovely visage which covers the soon-to-be released issue of Forbes' "billionaires" edition.
At 41, Sara started her company with a $5,000 investment. Her goal of erasing women's panty lines and cellulite worries appears to have struck a real chord with ladies everywhere, unlocking a highly profitable industry out of a niche market.
"[Undergarments] were out there were almost like wearing workout clothes under your beautiful outfits and so by creating the first shapewear out of pantyhose material...it opened all of our wardrobes up so much."
Watch the interview for more from Sara, including how she mustered up the courage to tell her fiancé she was a multi-millionaire—a month before their wedding!
