Madonna Posts Photos of Fat Lip, Bruises

Madonna has revealed that she's sustained several injuries in the course of rehearsing for her upcoming tour, and has posted the proof online.

The music icon, who wowed fans with a powerhouse Super Bowl halftime show last month, posted pics of numerous bruises on her body, and an up-close view of a fat lip, on her Facebook page. The mom of four describes one close-up shot as a "heart-shaped bruise on [her] ass."

But a few bruises won't stop the 53-year-old music icon -- she'll follow up the May 26 release of her upcoming album MDNA by kicking off her 2012 world tour May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel, which will take her all over the globe before finishing up in the U.S. this fall.
