While promoting her new book abroad, Goldie told London Evening Standard's ES magazine, "When my daughter Kate married an English rock star [Matt Bellamy] it didn't worry me; all that matters is that the relationship is a good one. What people do is not necessarily who they are."

She added, "My kids are fantastic with their children, they have an amazing parental ethic and I'm very proud of them for that."

Many are jumping to say that it was a slip of the tongue, and I would be more inclined to believe that if Goldie called Matt "Kate's husband," since she and Kurt Russell have enjoyed Hollywood's longest non-married relationship. But she didn't, Goldie said, "When my daughter Kate married an English rock star."

So, let's all congratulate Mr. & Mrs. Bellamy! Now, where do you think Bing's parents are registered?
