Earlier this week, Katy Perry invited a battle of the divas when she seemingly dissed the Beyonce/ Shakira classic Beautiful Liar, but after suffering the fallout for her remarks, Perry took to her Twitter to deny throwing any shade at Bey, as well as give a big middle finger to anyone who would accuse such a thing.
Katy Perry 'Raises' Some Eyebrows
"F*** all y'all (press) dat thinks I dissed anyone, puhlez," wrote Katy on Tuesday night. "U havin a slow news day or what?! Get a life, cuz it's not mine! #hoodratcominout."
The comment in question came from an interview with BBC Radio 1 in which Perry was detailing her upcoming duet with BFF Rihanna, explaining she wanted to the superstar pairing to deliver like "that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song Sisters Are Doin It for Themselves," she said. "Not Beautiful Liar."
Adding fuel to the fire she added, "How disappointed would you be if that song came out and it's no good? Sometimes you have to wait for greatness."
