Now known to the U.S. television audience as "The Latin Hottie" on Dancing with the Stars, he's already a big star to millions of Spanish-language soap fans. Here are five things you probably don't know about William Levy.
1. Born William Levy Gutierrez on August 29, 1980 in a small fishing village east of Havana, Cuba. He emigrated to Miami, FL, when he was 14 years old.
2. Started out as a model, but one of his big acting breaks came in a supporting role on Telemundo's series Los Teens, which focused on Hispanic teenagers growing up in the U.S.
3. Has a son and a daughter with his former Mexican girlfriend, actress Elizabeth Gutierrez.
4. Enjoys playing a variety of sports and is an avid baseball fan.
5. His grandfather on his mother's side was Jewish and that where's his last name Levy comes from.
