Recently, the former Today show host has caused quite the stir by taking her perkypants over to rival show Good Morning America for the week while Robin Roberts is out. But now it almost seems like she is taunting her old Today home.

Gearing up for her week-long stint, Katie has made several promos in which she has poked at her Today show past. Unfortunately, all this on-camera joking seems to be at the Today show’s expense, the job that made her famous and the show that was her home for 15 years. And now this Matt Lauer wax statue pic!

Along with the pic, Katie tweeted: "@Joshelliottabc and @katiecouric post @gma getting cozy with Matt in Time Square!"

Hey Katie, why don’t you tone down the tacky? It’s like sleeping with your best friend’s ex boyfriend (which you just don’t do) – and then sending her rompy pics of you two (which you really don’t do). Yes we get it – you’ve made your triumphant morning return and you have trampled on the Today show -- we get it. But you don’t need to rub it everyone’s faces.

Katie’s GMA stint is in order to promote her new syndicated daytime talk show, Katie, which is produced by Disney-ABC Domestic Television – and which I will -- without a doubt – not be watching. I don’t care how many cups of coffee that woman seems like she has had – you can’t be that cheery all the time. It’s inhuman.
