Say What?! Courtney Love Apologizes to Daughter
April 16, 2012
You know who really seems like she has her sh*t together? Courtney Love! Ooops wait, no, I’m sorry, I meant -- do you know who seems like she is a total sh*tshow? Courtney Love! Yep, that’s better. After last week’s public rant that 19-year-old daughter Frances Bean had hooked up with Courtney’s arch nemesis Dave Grohl, the Hole singer apologized to her offspring for her comments – via the most sincere form of communication: Twitter!
"Bean, sorry I believed the gossip.. Mommy loves you," tweeted Courtney from her pit of despair. Hello Too-Little, Too-Late, Courtney Love called and wants to be best friends – too bad no one is answering! Welcome to the world’s lamest apology ever. If the woman who ranks No. one in my celeb death pool can’t get her act together, who can!?
All the hoopla began last week, when Courtney crawled out from the cave she has been living in to tweet, "I hear from Frannie's roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances. I'm not mad at her, him i am about to shoot dead."
Aww that a great mom! More Mom Points for the poster child of “Drugs Are Bad” (bringing the tally to an impressive negative two million and three points). Courtney, we are all so glad you decided to finally unleash your maternal instincts on your teenage daughter, but maybe just give her a call, or write a note, or better yet -- leave her alone. Even if these claims were true (which seems highly doubtful) the fact that she came out on Twitter to address them is disgusting. Now do your daughter and your reputation a favor, go back to your cave -- and stay there.
Frances, who seems light years more mature than her mess of a mother, released a statement last Thursday, "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy." She then said, “Twitter should ban my mother." Good point, but it really seems like life should ban Courtney. Grohl’s publicist also released a statement, saying her claims are, “upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.” Courtney and her fresh as a daisy face have been making headlines recently for money, legal troubles and being a general nuisance to society, so another public tirade should come as no surprise to anyone who has taken notice of her life. It’s just too bad she had to publicly drag her daughter into all of her crazy.
Courtney, why don't you do something really shocking? Like grow up and get your act together.
